Philips Analytical BV Company profile Philips Analytical is the world's leading supplier of instrumentation and software for X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, with more than half a century of experience in these fields. For the petrochemical industry we offer a broad range of analysis solutions - one of which is the determination of contamination and wear in lubrication oil, which preferably use XRF fluorescence spectrometry since elemental quantitative and qualitative analysis is required. Our XRF systems are capable of replicating NIST oil standard values with a precision of low as 0,3%. Additionally, quality control of crude oil and raw materials used for production and manufacturing can be performed as well as tests and analyses within the recycling process whereby the strict regulations of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) have to be followed.
