KEY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTACTS
?Ensure that they, and other personnel, work in compliance with the company?s Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
?Carry out inspection and testing on in-process and final machined products to verify acceptance to specifications.
?Perform calibration checks on IMTE carried out in-house.
?Co-ordinate calibration of IMTE carried out by third parties.
?Complete inspection reports.
?Identify non-conforming material /product and assist in identifying root cause.
?Additional duties may be required either on a temporary or permanent basis within your area of competence to fulfil the company?s needs.
AUTHORITY
Has the authority to stop products reaching the customer, which do not conform to company standards of quality.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
SNT Level II M.P.I., D.P.I. & U.T. Knowledge of API Spec 7-1, 7-2 & NS-1 Specifications along with API rotary connections and proprietary connections including Grant Prideco, VAM, & Tenaris DSTJ.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION
The Quality Control Inspector should be educated to at least Scottish Standard Grade or equivalent. This minimum level may be reduced where extensive experience can be demonstrated.
